|Milwaukee's Best Dry|
Bruz: Another dry canadian brew, much like all the rest. Nothing makes this one stand out. Pretty easy to drink, but not my personal favorite style of drink... these dry beers get old to me. I rather wrap my lips around an american malt liquor, but that's not what this is, so I cannot judge it as such. This 40 bores me, so I give it an unimpressive 5/10 swills.
12/17/09 havinafett: Some of these Canadian bottles are like fucking cinderblocks.
Weak hiss, no ring detach, you know the story with this type of bottle. Interesting taste. I haven't had many dry beers. Few cans of Bud Dry once a couple years ago among a bunch of other shit. Molson Dry once, again among a bunch of other shit. Don't really remember much about either so I'm really not familiar with the typical taste of a dry beer. I'm guessing thats what was "interesting" about this to me because without that I guess it would be pretty boring.
Real carbonated, went down nice. No complaints really. Honestly I liked it a lot. It was a good beer to have right after I walked in the door from work. This bottle was the only thing I drank that night, got a really mild buzz from it that went away pretty quick. Which was fine with me I guess. Wasn't trying to get anywhere farther than that. That said though if I could get this regularly I might buy it from time to time. But not without some higher % brew to pair it up with.
Thanks out to boston40hunter for this
sippin apache: Chillin'out watcing K1 fights. I wanted a light 40 so got this, knowing the brew already. I never reviewed it tho.
It's one of those thick and heavy widemouth 40's with no ring on the cap so no crack and a slight hiss.
At 5.9% it's a litlle stronger then regular dry brews(usually 5.5%) yet tastes like any other. Very carbonated and stays cold all the way down the 40. This like other dry brews has no after taste, it's awesome to sipp while snackin on chips or beefjerkey like i'm doing now.
When i'm looking for this type of beer, this one is my number one tied with Old Milwaukee dry(which I havent seen in 40's for awhile now ). 6/10 stars. OK brew, nice to sipp while chillin in the afternoon, very low but perceivable buzz.
