Bruz: When I originally received this 40, apparently about 1/5 of it leaked out somehow in my friend's car, but I thought nothing of it. Now as I drink it, I can't help but wonder if my "buddies" played a prank on me & maybe "tampered" with it if you know what I mean... Ah, who cares, I'll drink it anyway. Now that my mind has settled, I realize it's just a kind of different initial taste - not pee, as I implied, & definitely not bad. Then, after more & more it starts to taste more & more average. No real buzz though, with an average "going #1" factor, and decent taste yield this brew a 6/10 swills, just like it's brother Carling Black Label Forte... that 0.5% ABV difference is just not enough enough to give this unit a better rating.

Buzzcore: I said you'd never get another Black Label review less than the mighty "Big 10%" but I drank this shit hangin' out in front of The Big O before an Expos game. Why I picked it, I'm still not sure...........I guess I wanted another bottle to add to my collection? Anyway, the brew was good, but I spent most of the game talkin' to some crazy Canadian about politics and other things. Tasted much like the other Black Label brews up north..........with a lil' less kick. Might of tasted a little better, actually. Gets a 6/10 because I said so, dammit!
