Reviews:

Bruz: Another one of the many Canadian 40s I didn't get to actually drink. I stink. HOWEVER, it is the same as "Carling Black Label Extreme", which I did drink... this is just the older version. Go check that one for my review of this brand!

sippin apache: The Ultimate and possible last review for this product. I'm swillin probably the last or one of the last of these.

I found this today as I was doing an intensive 40 search in my new hood in Verdun(real ghetto for Montreal) QC. I expected to find some old 40's(I did) but nothing that was last spoted more or less 10 years ago.

Like all these 40's there is no ring so all you hear is the hiss. Good sign. It's actually still sealed. The taste is not bad, but definitly not good. My review is not 100% verifiable because in the back of my mind I know this brew is old

Anyways, I recall malts tasted like that back in the day, a cider type taste. Strong alcool flavour and rapid and effective buzz factor.

I cant rate it. This is a 40 from another era(half my life almost. All I can say is it aged well cuz it was poundable and yielded a decent buzz.

Tiger Tai: Another 40 I got from Bruz. Carling Extreme didn't taste to particularly strong for being 7%. Tastewise it wasn't that great but not bad and it yielded a average buzz. I'd rate Carling Extreme 6 of 10 Swills...
