Reviews:

Bruz: This 40oz, did not taste like most of the big % malts out there. It flowed down like a basic brew! The smoothness amazed me, being this thang is an impressive 8.5% alcohol, I thought it woulda burned or tasted horrible. Neither though, she tasted like a good beer. The swill is nothing. It did make me pee, but the brew's nuthin but a "strong beer" as the label states. Buzz was ok, these days though alcohol contents around 8.5%'s are becoming "mid-tier" it seems. Especially in Canada where they're producing several 10%ers as well as an 11%er (Axe Head). Anyway, overall - due to its extreme smoothness - this thing gets 8/10 swills. I still can't get over how easily it flows down my esophagus for 8.5% alcohol. But please, let me stop obsessing and end this review. Thanks out to "Dirty D" for the hookup on this one!

Buzzcore: Downed this one while watchin' the documentary on "Atlantic City Hookers" on HBO. Makes me wonder if boxing matches are the only reason Bruz heads down to AC??? Hahaha...........anyway, this 40 was first class for sure! Tasted like Lucky Force 8, or a mix between Camo and Molson Golden. Much better than Camo, and much stronger than Molson. A 40 worth seeking out, with a cool label ta' boot! 8/10, no doubt!

DC40s: Big thanks to Apache for this strange smallmouth Canadian 40.

Like everyone else has said, THIS SHIT TASTES GOOD!

It does not taste "acceptable for a 8.5%."

It tastes downright good.

If I had this around me I'd drink it all the time.

Why can't American brewers make a 8.5% 40 that tastes like a microbrew but is still, unlike Dogfish Head, a mass-produced 40?

I kinda feel bad sending you and Nitz Pitbulls in exchange for this awesome 40...

gettinhigh420style: im gonna type this as i drink it
i opened it up, slight hiss, bottom ring didnt not come off of the cap
doesnt have a bad smell at all
ok first sip: not a bad taste to it

ya
i highly recomend this 40 to anyone who has acces to it
i give it a 9 outta 10
only cuz its 8.5 and copuld quite possibly make it a 9, or more without messing with the good taste

LMSCRacer: A BIG thanks to Sippin Apache for hooking me up with this outstanding 40. I picked up the box at the PO at 3, put it on ice, and swilled it down at 6. I was ready for a great 40 and this bitch didn't let me down.

For 8.5 % ABV, this stuff is smooth top to bottom. Good hiss on the crack. Barely at hint of the higher alcohol. A unique, but good taste that starts out strong and stays solid right through the swill. Pretty decent buzz factor is a bonus. I rate this a solid 8/10 swills.

RowdyAssDrunk: Picked this up in Hull.

living in Ottawa, I'm blessed with having access to Quebec's exclusive 40's and looser alcohol laws (They're strict-ass bitches here in Ontario)

Cyclone Power is the first 40 I've seen here in a brown, small mouth bottle, so I had to buy it. It has a cool name too, best said with a strong Quebecer accent.

The taste is pretty good. It tastes like your typical strong beer, only a little sweeter. Goes down real smooth. From It's name, I'd expect this stuff would give you the spins real bad if you drank too much.

I give it 8/10 swills, for coming in a small mouth (which I prefer - and is REALLY fucking hard to find here) tasting decent, and packing a good buzz.
