| Ice Man |

Bruz: I just cracked open a 40 of Ice Man right now. This very second. No matter what time you're reading this, it was THIS second. Found in Cleveland, this 40 tastes pretty good. The first one given to me was already guzzled, but this one is mine for the poundin'... and has a slightly new design on the label! Anyway, it tastes like your standard malt, and thus I give it 7/10 swills. Thanks out to "40 Ounce Legend" for hooking me up with my Ice Man 40! |

beam21: pumped on this 40 I've wanted to tear into one of these since I first peeped the site crack/hiss were weak but the shit appeared very carbonated, which I like in a 40 this is at pitch perfect temperature for a 40 as well, it's real light and easy going down tastes like nothing with a side of funk it's very bland and weird taste but it's top 5 if not top 3 in smoothest, most refreshing 40s I've ever had shit is crisp and, like satan said, it just seems to disappear I'm kinda perplexed by this 40, I think cause there are very few decent, low abv% malts in the PNW mickey's ice and the occasional colt 45 are about it, and this is better than both buzz is hard to discern b/c I've been drinking a bit but it's very clean and otherwise seemingly insignificant taste B buzz B but this gets major points from intangibles I feel like I'm slighting it by giving it 8.5/10 I fucking love it but it has its flaws |
DolbyZero: i am chuggin down my "FIRST" Ice Man. It is pretty decent I must say, it is similar to King Cobra for drinkability. It is a smooth drink, taste more like a lager than a malt. Doesnt pack a buzz like Colt45, but i felt a little warm after I passed the label. So, for $1.59, It is an overall good malt with 7-10 swills. |
Drastic Mezures: neutral taste, this had the most boring taste of any malt liquor 40 I can think of. It's like they forgot the part that gives it flavor; at least it didn't taste bad. It was easy to drink and it goes down smooth but the buzz was barely there. I hadent had a 40 for weeks before I had this one and I was barely buzzing. The worst thing about Ice Man is it makes you shit real bad. It made me shit twice that night and then one more time the next day. It might not totally be Ice Mans fault though because I also had two servings of White Castle that day. I'll try to get another Ice Man and drink it without all that Castle to see if it still ends with a splash. |
Fat John: Not a bad tasting 40 at all but maybe thats because its so weak.I got a tiny buzz and thats about it.When i had it next to my crazy horse and wildcat i noticed that the Ice Man was lighter in color. But still it didn't taste bad and went down smooth.Swill was average.I'd definitely give it another try.Maybe i just caught a weak batch or something. On a scale of 1-10 i'll give it a 6.Would be a 7 or 8 if it was stronger. |
FultonCounty40z: I thought this 40 was great. Good classic malt taste, no burn...i loved it. One of the best i've had in a awhile, and i've had all kinds of malts lately. The label is one of my favorites too. |
havinafett: My friend brought me one of these from cleveland this summer. When I first saw this thing I thought it was gonna be horrible. The label alone made it look like it was 10 years old. I was surprised, it was great. If they sold this stuff around me I'd drink it all the time. |
ImissMy64oz: just poilshed offf an iceman after a molsen ice |
JoeWebberlione: this shit is daaam like Tha Alkaholiks track. Old school look old school taste old school buzz I love this shit, on my top 10 of favorite 40's of all time. First crack into it & I knew I found another favorite to add to the list. This is another one of those brews that I'm gunna be disapointed when its all gone, lil bit past the half way mark now. Hopefully I can find some more, much love out to LMSCRacer for this crazy find that I've been looking for, for quiet some time! 10 outta 10 swills! |
LMSCRacer: Copped this forty on my trip to the fringe of East St. Louis. A nice malt overall. Hate to sound like a Busch ad, but this was "Easy Drinking." Very mild taste, none of the "sharpness" normally associated with a malt. Smooth mouthfeel. Good carbonation level right through the swill. Not sure what "Chill Aged" means (reminds me of "cold aged" from Genesee in the 70's), but who cares. Overall, a decent malt that I will certainly pick up a few more on my next trip to STL. I give it a solid 8/10 swills. |
MarkBlackout: this shit was pretty good.. swilled appropriately at 23rd and carrolton at on the front porch of a friends squat. definitely smooth, easy to drink, but once you get a good chug going it places this totally unique chemical-like burn at the back of your throat. interesting! my good friend mike had one too, and he's not nearly as into malts as i am. he didn't think it was bad either, but we both noticed that strange, strange burn it had going. three out of four stars. |
MyLiverHurts: Best 40 of the weekend, I knew this was in my top 10 all-time malts from the first sip. The taste was similar to Big Bear, which is a massive compliment. I’d drink this 40 constantly if it popped up near me. SO glad I bought more than one. |
Rodog: Ice Man, sounded like a promising choice on ghetto 40 night, and my boys and i were in for a suprise. The taste was less than spectacular, only one of us actually enjoyed it, and it wasn't me. to date, it was the worst 40 i ever had, luckily, Red Bull quickly replaced it as the worst 40 ever. If you can only spend 5 bucks on alcohol, maybe you shouldn't be drinking in the first place but if you choose to this is the choice, get three of em and watch out, It'll get you drunk! (expect mad intestinal discomfort the next day though) |

satan165: Thanx to Fat John for this bitch! I can tell already that Specialty Brewing puts much more work into their marketing and snappy malt liquor names then brewing quality. This stuff is on a level with Coqui and Country Club: bland, average 40s. Although this did go down very smooth as I watched the Jackass movie it seemed to disappear from the bottle. I still like it for the name alone and would buy it at least occassionally if it was available in the area. All in all, not a disappointment necessarily, but nothing special either. Still a step above average. Buzz: C+, Taste: C+ |
Tiger Tai: I just finished my 1st Iceman thanks to Fat John. Iceman is one of the tastiest 40's I've ever had, all the way to the swill. Although it yielded almost no buzz the taste made up for it. I'd rate Iceman 8 of 10 Swills for being one of the tastiest out there.... |
tomthebomb2: I drank a 40 of this shit last night. I bought it because it got good reviews on www.40ozmaltliquor.com, and because it cost $1.39. It tastes like someone pissed into a 40 of laser, which is saying a lot, since Laser tastes like piss anyway, so just imagine piss that's been left out and skunked for a few weeks. This is the worst fucking shit I have ever tasted. And there was a god damn pubic hair in it too. I don't know what the fuck these other assholes were talking about when they reviewed it and said it was good, because I would rather drink my own piss or the piss of my friends all mixed together than have to drink this shit again. The only good thing about it is the fucking label, and the top gun quotes that were shouted at me as I cracked the 40 open and took a swig. First class quality work on that label. |
Vile Fiend: Thanks to DC40’s for hookin me, and the rest of the crew at the 2004 chi-town meeting of the minds up with this 40. I was expecting greatness when I had this. First off, it tasted great. One of the better, smoother, and more flavorful malts I’ve had. But halfway through, it went downhill fast. I don’t know what happened, but about 2/3rds the way through it was really hard to drink. I finished it though, and it had a great buzz to it, plus it has a kind of 80’s video game/70’s porno type logo to it. Awesome label. Pure genious, and the fact that it says “Chill-Aged” kicks ass too. I’d give this bastard a 6 outta 10 swills. |
White Mike: Well I just finish my first iceman, big shout out to dolby for hookin me up. My first impression was it was gonna be like big bear. The cap from ice man and big bear are the same for some reason. And I was right, it is similar to big bear. Which is a good thing since i love the bear. First swig was hella good, has a nice smooth ice taste to it. Was easy going down all the way to the bottom. Killed it in under 20min flat. My victory newport helped this 40 yeild a nice buzz. No pissing at all, although I do have a bladder the size of a lake so I never piss from one 40. Over all I would give it a 8 outta 10. If I could get this by me I would buy it again in a heartbeat. |
