Bruz: Pretty crisp taste for a 7%er. 7% seems to be the magic # for beer - it's the perfect balance of strength & taste. Higher than that & it starts tasting bad, less than that & it's not strong enough. Otherwise I'm getting pretty bored with all these canadian brands - they all taste the same, there are several variations of each with only a percentage difference among them & practically the same labels, and those heavy thick dark brown wide mouth bottles suck. This brew goes well with chicken pot pie, not so well with pistachios & pretzels. Also drinking this while reading "Message 'N A Bottle: The 40oz Scandal" by Alfred 'Coach' Powell - pure comedy! Work is so relentless lately; I'm so friggin tired, screw boring Canada & their same ol' beers, I'm going to sleep. 6/10 swills |

sippin apache: Had the wildcat 10 last night. Now the 7, this one is the same widemouth, heavy brown bottle. The brew is much better though. It goes down real easy, no crazy aftertaste or crazy alcohol taste like the 10. Just a regular golden, well carbonated strong beer. Buzz is ok, feelin' good. 8/10 stars. |
