Bruz: Thanks out to satan165 for scoring this off of eBay for me for $50! I did receive it full, but being it's 10 years old & has sediment floating around inside it, I decided not to drink it & just dump it out instead. However, at the 2004 Meeting of the Minds in Chicago (1st major 40oz Crew get-together), DC40s bravely cracked ImissMy64oz's old full one & proceeded to gulp it down. We passed it around, and I took a couple hearty swigs... it didn't taste all that bad, just like a warm (since it was sitting on a display shelf) sub-par malt liquor.

AK40seven: OK I did drink most of the cloudy Lowenbrau Malt Liquor and didn't give a review because the aging process severely alters the original taste. BUT I will venture a guess as to what it may have tasted like when new. This would have to be one of the borderline malt liquors with regard to alcohol content, I say this because that particular component should have deteriorated very little in the past ten years or so since bottling. Thus, it was more a regular beer in that there was no alcohol smell or taste and subsequently little buzz. It would place it at or below regular Mickey's in %. Overall I'd say it was a fairly smooth with little aftertaste. A hint of malt and hops, much more that of a watery plain old beer than malt liquor. Perhaps a touch of the lame domestic attempt at the imported taste. 6/10 for what I could guess it was when new.
