Bruz: A sharp crack gives way to a smooth taste. The whole beer is smooth, from start to finish. I ate a slice of re-heated pizza with everything on it (except onions & anchovies... even though I do like onions) while drinking this. If you're going to have a beer 40, this is a much better choice than Budweiser or Coors Light. But how the hell is MGD giving me a headache when malt liquor doesn't?! It must be due to some other variables... Swill is no prob & the overall rating of this 40 is 7/10 swills! Thanks out to AK40seven & neufutur for the hookup on some of the variants!

Crack was ok, and almost no hiss.

Weak taste, weak flavor.

Not much more to say aside from the face it's cool o have a new bottle for my collection.

Boring, boring, boring! I would rather have a 40 of High Life which I'd enjoy immensely more than this bore of a 40.

8/03/08 91firebird: First off...Thanks to my man in Cali Alvin Karpis for the hookup on this MGD 40. I've swilled many a MGD but never in a 40. This had a decent crack and the 1st pull was what I expected. It's MGD in a bottle lol. I can't get any beer 40's in my area and this is just for collection purposes. Smooth all the way. Watching the replay of Margarito vs Cotto fight on HBO. Margarito killed him in the 10th and 11th rd. Overall a decent swill. It stayed cold all the way through. Although I swilled it in about 13 minutes. Ate a slice of pizza while swillin it. Played some poker with the family and cashed out 15 bucks ahead. 5/10 swills. Thanks again Karp.

4TDogg: As with Bud, MGD can't really be considered a 40. As a beer its not bad - no high life, but not bad. Buzz factor (as you might imagine from a regular beer) not impressive. 5 of 10

adrunkenninja: finally , a beer made by the miller brewing company worthy of mass consumption whenever. good smooth taste , not watery in the least and very very chugable. 9 out of 10 swills.

beerface: Pure wheat. Wheat & hops the whole way. This is a really wheaty beer...but its a beer, not a malt liquor so it doesn't count. Best tasting beer out there, 9 outta 10 stars (almost perfect tasting beer).

BrainDamage702: Bought this just for the bottle, and i waz already pretty buzzed off of a schlitz bull ice, it seemed to taste pretty good.. i remember the swill was easy to drink... i actually think the label is cool lookin too.. i would pound another one for sure! id say 8 outta 10 swillz for that ass!

Buzzcore: I've only had MGD twice in my life. Once, when I was about 16 and my friend's sister's boyfriend bought us a 12'er of it. The dude with the beer, me and these two chicks I never saw before or since, each got buzzed off three or four of 'em, but I didn't get shit from either of the two chicks. It was a very boring night. Back then, I thought it tasted like shit, but this second time, I've got a slightly different opinion. While still not the greatest 40 I've ever drank, it's really not bad. Only problem is, it's got the worst image on earth. I can't think of a lamer 40 to be caught drinking, yet here I am, drinking it for another 40 oz crew review. I wanna' like High Life better, I really wanna' like High Life better.................. but there's a reason why this outsells High Life at a ration of probably 6-to-1. It just tastes slightly better. 4/10 because I said so, dammit!

DaHookUp7Mile: I hate this shit. Ive drank it 3-4 times and havent since. Every time it seemed to be a skunked batch or thats jus how this shit tastes. Tasted real skunked, Not enough buzz for the nasty taste. 1/10 swills.

dj oe 800: aside from beast ice, i don't really like miller's beer products (olde english is cool as shit, of course), and this is no exception. boring. flat (although i did put it away halfway through because i was tired, then didn't pick it up for a few days, so really, it's my own fault).

Drastic Mezures: I'm not too into beer 40's but I have to say Miller makes a good product. This 40 tasted good, goes down smooth and easy. Compared to a malt 40 there's almost no buzz but thats a beer 40 for you. Sometimes a light buzz has it's time and place though. I'll take this over any Budweiser anyday.

Fat John: The second of my 40's for this evening.Not a malt but a damn good beer.Tasted great and stayed cold for all 1.5 hours it took for me to conquer it.I loved the label on this shit.It just looks fuckin classy and the writing on the back of the label that ya see once you've drank enough of it is a nice touch as well.Swill wasn't very tasty although i've definately had much worse.Did a nice job of extending the buzz from my first 40.As far as regular beer goes this shit is great.If i had to choose a regular beer it would be hard for me to choose between MGD and Budweiser(which i love).I'll have to setup a head to head comparison.I'm gonna hit this 40 up with a rating of 8 out of 10 drunken gulps

It was either drink it or pour it down the drain. Still not sure what the better option would have been. Seriously, the stuff is ok cold, but loses it as it warms. Typical American beer. If you are going to blast it down, no prob; otherwise there a lot better options. Overall - 3/10 swills.

MyLiverHurts: 3.2% ABW: Found it at a Kansas gas station on the way back from Colorado and didn't get around to drinking it til now. Not that I was looking forward to it or anything. I kept thinking, damn, I'm gonna drink this, and it's gonna taste like regular MGD watered way down, I'm gonna dump 2/3 of it, and feel stupid for even trying it in the first place.

But it didn't. It did not taste watered down at all. If anything, the flavor of the beer itself was actually MORE noticeable.

I for one don't think of MGD as a 40 where you can "taste the alcohol". But when the alcohol content is so damn low, it brought the taste of the actual brew itself to the forefront!!

Buzz: nonexistent...as if that needed clarification.

In conclusion, this 40 tasted great. I will never, ever drink it again.

neufutur: I picked this up in Kent, Ohio. I bought it after getting a slightly old old label of MGD from Ashtabula. I don't know why, but I think letting a 40 age gives it a better taste. This does not have much of a taste to it, and the buzz is slight while drinking it. I was eating a spaghetti dinner with it, so the beer did well in a pinch cleansing the palatte. I would have to go cheaper for my 40s, as this was a pretty high price for something that did not have much in the way of taste. Pick up a Black Label 11-11 instead, but this will do if you want a beer that is familiar and in mass quantities. 5.0/10 for the swill. Completely average.

OldeGoldSwilla: its ok. My least favorite of the big 3 american beers. to me MGD spells heartburn.

Silly crack, had this early in the day and, it tasted watery plus tasted like random cheap beer.
2/10 swills cuz its a clear small mouth and sorta felt like I was swillin' something decent and got me craving for a real brew

Tiger Tai: I'm not really into MGD I had a bad experience playing quarters with it. in which I spewed all over my friends bathroom floor and rug then in my drunken stupor tried to hide it with toilet paper, which needless to say didn't work. it osn't to bad tasting and has an average buzz factor when drank at a normal rate... I'd give MGD 6 of 10 Swills.

troobie: It is weak, like most other Miller products. I only bought this because I realized I didn't have the bottle for my collection. I also have to admit that I love MGD's black, red, gold labels which are some of the most bad-ass ever, however the new labels are trying way too hard to be yuppie and "upscale". I'm not a fan of most of Miller's products, with the exception of High Life. Now, considering MGD is High Life that hasn't been heat pasteurized so that it supposedly retains more of its true flavor you have to wonder why High Life tastes so much better and is so much cheaper. That leaves Genuine Draft being a shittier, much more expensive High Life. 2 words: Fuck that. I've always wanted to like MGD, but it is absolutely tasteless. I know they make MGD Light, and I would imagine that an Aquafina would have more flavor. MGD is best to drink at near room temperature so that you can get some flavor with your zero-buzz. I'm going to give this a 2/10 for the decent label. The score would be higher if they hadn't pussed out on the new label. Excuse me while I go break open the 12 pack of Steel Reserve I picked up for $4.99 when I bought this 40.

uk82chaospunk: mgd is ok, its just beer...so i bought the 40 for my collection..nothing more nothing less....i drank a 22 of some really good apple cider before i drank this 40.....theres no significant buzz factor...but hte beer went down smooth as hell...i wouldnt recommend this 40 to get drunk off...you wold probably need like 4 of em...but it did make me hungry and i';m about to eat some of my moms chicken soup and that shit is good.....i'll give MGD 5 out of 10 swills just because it tastes good
