Bruz: Cracked this one immediately after getting home from church. Smells like B.O., tastes ok. A novice 40 swilla would probably cringe against the taste, but in reality it's not bad. Having some leftover pizza with the works while I drink this fo'dy. Now chompin on some cocktail peanuts & reading Stephen King's "The Talisman" as I move onward with it. Pretty decent malt flavor, almost a little cruddy but not really. Finishing up the swill... not too bad but swilly none-the-less. Very slight buzz. Overall 6/10 swills. Thanks out to Drastic Mezures & MyLiverHurts for hookin me up with a couple of the variants! |

4/08/09 BigJandthe40: I got this one in a trade with Dukesplace, thanks Dukes!
When I cracked it, it sounded like one of the farts you have when you sqaut down and hot air kinda just leaks out. First sip taste pretty good, not too old or skunky, has a tiny sweet after taste to it, I am drinking this and watching a crazy movie called Battle Royal. They are both unique and working well toether. I persoanlly really like this 40oz the buzz is very weak 6-10 but the label is a 10/10 I would say this is my favorite label in my collection of about 50 40oz right now. ![]() |

Alvin Karpis: First of all a big shout out to my boy Dukesplace for the hook up on the Night Flight. Thew it in the frezer for an hour. The crack was good no hiss and the whole cap came off. I was afraid of a bad taste right off the bat but I was suprised that it tasted pretty good. The low carbination made for very fast swilling. I was mid lable 5 mins into the 40 and then just guzzled the rest with the quickness. I have never had a malt liquor that I could pound so fast. Taste 7/10 Buzz 7/10 Overall 7/10 very impressed with Night Flight thought it was going to suck but Dukesplace came through with a good 40 |

Buzzcore: So me and Zenn decided to take a Night Flight tonight. His description is priceless, he said it tastes like the waste water from a CNC lathe. In other words, extremely metallic. How do certain beers get that metallic taste, anyway? Then again, I didn't think it was that bad though and it's my review, not his, so I give this shizz 5/10 with the F-22 Raptor on the label, 4/10 without. Tastes like a year old bottle of Coqui 900, but not as smooth. |
CHINO: Don't bother getting the shit cold, just drink it warm. it's better that way.Because it sucks no matter what you do. Better yet buy something else. 2 outa 10 it sucks!!!!!! |
DC40s: This 40 basically tastes pretty weak. Kinda like water, in fact. I just drank it on an empty stomach and don't really feel any buzz. I would not recommend this brew to anyone who is trying to get fucked up. As a brew for just chillin around the house, however, it will do just fine. |
doublej708: i was excitied to get this malt from Bruz. it didnt let me down. this thing had pretty much consistant flavor throughout the whole 40. even the swill tasted great!!!!! the buzz was as good as it could be from a non-HG. i wish this was around here. i could see this 40 being my regular 40 of choice. but, its too bad that the closet one to me is a few hundred miles away. thanks again bruz!!!!!!!! |
Drastic Mezures: Now this is ghetto juice. It's only available in the worst part of the 'hood. I've got no complaints about the price and the taste wasn't too bad, but it's not something I'd drink regularly. It reminded me of a low budget Laser. |

elantrax: Shoutout to DM for hookin this up and coming through with one of the last ones. What can I say this stuff is awsome, the label rocks with the black fighter jet with the NF logo on it, to the shiny black-silver label with SPR on it. The first crack of the bottle sent a decent hiss and from the first swill throughout the whole thing it was a decent 40 with good taste. By the time I hit the halfway mark and end I was feeling the buzz good and in the end the swill still tasted awsome. I give this stuff 8 out of 10 just for being good for the price and being non-hg delivered a good buzz. Never hesitate to take a night flight lol |

FultonCounty40z: Got this from 40 Ounce Killa awhile ago, decided it was time to crack into it. I popped in Kung Pow-Enter the Fist as I drank this 40. The night flight made that movie more hilarious...even though it is ridicoulous to begin with. I had heard many bad things about the NF on this site, and although it is a very ghetto 40, it wasn't half bad. I would probably drink it again. |
Kook EJ: I found this while doing some scouting near my job in the Bronx. They had 2 label variations at this particular bodega: the one with the stealth bomber plane and the one with the "NF" on it. I cracked this before heading out on the town last Friday. My initial impression is that it wasn't too strong, but maybe I'm getting too used to the ABV of HG's. Surprise, surprise though - it actually gave me a decent buzz by the end of it. Nothing crazy, just a good head start to the night. The flavor I didn't find too bad at all. Basic malt liquor, no frills. No problem with the swill at the end either. Overall rating: a solid 6 out of 10 stars. I would consider drinking this again to get the other label variation or just for the f*ck of it. |

MarkBlackout: Night Flight is nasty! I picked this one up down the street in Bed-Stuy I hadn't checked before. I was happy to find it; they had the labels without the fucking fighter jets unfortunately. This shit had very little crack and no ring separation from the cap -- bad news. Also, it didn't taste like beer. There was some familiarity to the taste, but I've never had a 40 like Night Flight. I won't buy another without a goddamn F-16 on it.. 2 out of 10, at least for the possibly stale sample I tried. $1.99 SRP (round orange sticker) @ Fulton and Marcus Garvey. Update: I found another Night Flight, with the jet this time. It was good! I threw it in the freezer for a spell before cracking it, and occupied myself with a 22 of Steel Reserve while it chilled. I really liked this 40: it had a nice dryness/lack of sweetness I liked. I'd probably buy this again, and at $1.50 it's the cheapest 40 in the area. 7 out of 10, easy. |
orentha: Got this in a trade with White Mike. Cracked it open during the Colts - Patriots game. My initial thought was metal, copper to be exact. The most metallic malt I've tasted so far... It didn't go down too smooth, so I"m going to steer clear of this in the future. 4 out of 10 swills. |
satan165: Got this in a trade from Bruz, I guess its plentiful in New Jersey. I assumed that it would be an average 40 like Coqui 900 and Country Club. IT was better then both, defiantely better then the Coutry Club. I find that the color of the Night Flight is a bit darker and more orange, it lended itself well to teh flavor, decent buzz, Unlike the 2 aforementioned 40s, I would drink this one again. The name alone cant be beat. I just wish I had the 40 with the jet/space ship on it rather then the 'NF', then it would probably taste even better. Buzz: B, Taste: B+ ![]() |

sippin apache: This 40 was taken mid warm in Boston after a huge chicken roll. Cracked real loud, hissed and stank. Heavy malt aroma came from the 40's mouth. This brew was very carbonated but in a foamy way. I proceded to take half, a mellow buzz came through but made me feel very full again. I sipped it all through the evening, finally poured the rest in the sink the next morning, shit was still foaming like crazy when I poured it. The 40 is ghetto and cool as hell, the contents, I don't care about it one bit. 7/10 stars for the 40 added to my collection. |
Tiger Tai: I can barely remember drinking this one but from what I do remember it was kinda grainy or wheat tasting or sumthin. I remember a pretty bad taste nowhere near as bad as M-X or Coqui but not as good as Schlitz or OE... I guess I'll just give Nightflight 5 of 10 Swills. |
White Mike: Night flight used to be fairly easy to find out here on Long Island. And then as quickly as it came it was gone. Luckly I was able to get one from Mark Blackouts hood for a re-review. I rememberd this as being a shitty yet tolerable malt. This new one sucked. Weak crack right off the bat, and I smelled it and recoiled in horror at the awful smell. The whole thing had a flat taste with a rancid aftertaste. Not at all like I rememberd. It got more watery as I got down past the label, but I didn't enjoy this at all. |
