Bruz: This started off tasting really bad. I was relaxing with this one, taking my time drinking it, while watching some WWF Raw. The taste really sucked, but the 8.0% alc/content soon made me think it tasted decent. OE Ice is good for a buzz, but tastiness? The swill tasted better than the beginning. Rating is 6/10 swills.

Alvin Karpis: When I moved to Seattle in 1999 Ice 800 was sold at a gas station right next to my house. I grabbed one out of the cooler one day to look at the bottle and saw that it was made by OE! Now when I lived in Cali OE Ice was there but I always thought that it was a 211 product (I hated 211 back in the day) for some odd reason and never even took the time to take out a bottle and inspect it. That was a big mistake. I drank OE Ice for at least a year straight every day. I was working a ton of hours and that Ice 800 was the perfect end to my 14-16 hour days at work. The Buzz was perfect I loved the taste and the lable kicks ass. If one 40 could be brought back from the dead I would vote for Ice 800 no doubt.

beerface: O.E. Ice 800 tastes worse than the new St. Ide's High Gravity! Bullshit! St. Ide's new shit tastes like the old Robitussin cough syrup. On the other hand, O.E. Ice has that nice refreshing taste of malt and hops. It goes down smooth and easy for an experience that the whole family can enjoy. I did get a little head pounder the day after though, but that was cuz I guzzled a whole bunch of 12 oz. Buds that night too. But O.E. Ice 800 is good stuff, I highly recommend it to the crew. If you find it, pick yourself up a whole case, you won't regret it.

Blackout Colin: This was the all-time highschool favorite of our crew until they stopped making it. Why Olde E, why stop making ice brew? Everyone knows Ice 800 fucking owns O.E. 800! We started drinking Mickey's, Olde E, Camo, 211, and St. Ides, but this is the 40 that trained us to hold our malt down. RIP Ice 800

DC40s: First, I just ate some pasta to prepare my belly for this challenge. Ok, I just cracked the cap...taking a sniff. Smells OK. Gonna take a very small sip. Weird. It tastes sort of like apple juice, and AK was right, it does have a SLIGHTLY vinegary taste. This actually does not taste that bad, though it does not taste like a new OE Ice. I'm about an inch below the top of the label now, and the headache I've had all day is starting to go away...a good sign. Weird, the foam in the 40 after I swill it is BROWN!!! Ok, I've been drinking this for about 10 minutes now, and I'm halfway down the middle of the label. The problem now is not the taste, but the thought of what I'm drinking. When I THINK about it I feel sick, but the taste is fine... Ok, I'm near the bottom now and I think I just swallowed a chunk of something. My eyes are starting to water... I'm done. Jesus Christ. And the OE Ice packed the same familiar punch. (This 40 was made on 7/4/99 and drank on 7/7/04)

hg8point2: this one dosen't fare as well with me as big brother but it's still pretty damn good.it is a bit smoother but just a bit.it just dosen't taste as good as regular and for me thats pretty disappointing.i guess i was looking for a bigger and better version of old gold.all in all when not compared to it's better counterpart it is good,tastes the same till the swill and has a cool ass bottle.7/10

pman433: tastes better the more it goes down.good buzz of course.if i want a buzz id rather go with st ides high gravity.the oe ice is better than the bull ice though.tastes better and cleaner buzz.

satan165: Thanx to Fat John for this 40. It's very old and I was afraid that it was going to be chunky. I was planning on drinking it either way, but it looks super clear to me! This 40 is very old yet has no side of sediment and popped very nice with plenty of carbonation. It has a darker nutty taste like a Bull Ice HG (closest comparison I can think of). Much better then OE HG. Buzz: B, Taste B

Tiger Tai: Well seeing as I love OE I figured I'd love OE Ice, but alas the taste is fucking harsh. But like Bruz said the Alcohol Content will make you think it gets better as you drink. OE Ice is pretty smooth still though and does have a hard ass label... I'd give OE Ice 7 of 10 Swills.
