Bruz: The first time I had this 40, I had it alongside a 40 of Steel Reserve and somehow the evening resulted in BLACK puke which I left sitting in the sink for some jerk I was sharing an apartment with to deal with. I also didn't record the review, so here's a fresh one (thanks to Tiger Tai)... At first, it tastes ok, much like your everyday beer 40oz. But once you hit the halfway point it goes downhill fast. And the swill! Oh man the swill tastes like hell! Stick with the olde English, they do it better than the Germans. And no friggin buzz what-so-ever! Overall rating is 3.5/10 swills. Thanks out to Bryan M. for one of the variants!

Ben Sanderson: Oh my god this was the worst shit ive ever tasted. About made me want to puke. what world are they talking about in their slogan, i dont know but im glad i dont live there. 1/10 swills AVOID

orentha: Cracked this a few days ago.

well, it didn't have a crack at all.. it sounded like I opened a water bottle that has already been opened 30 times...

tasted like watered down bud light or something
i'd guess 2%abv if I had to.

3/10

Tiger Tai: Old German wasn't anything really impressive. tastes exactly like what it is, lager beer. I also don't agree with their slogan "THE WORLD KNOWS NO FINER". I've had better lager beers before Honey Brown comes to mind. however Old German does yield more of a buzz than Busch so I'll give Old German 5 of 10 Swills an average rating for an average beer....
