Bruz: Overall, this was a decent 40. It seems to be a couple years old, but apparently has not lost any of its flavor. And what a unique flavor it is for a 40oz... GRAPE! But get this - if you pour some into a glass, you can see its surprisingly beautiful EMERALD GREEN color!!! Like james & Tiger Tai said, it tastes much like grape soda going down. It gets a little old after awhile (I was never a huge fan of grape beverages). But the swill is not bad, it tastes simply like a warmer version of the initial gulp. It's easy going down, I was surprised when I was finished. Made me pee a couple of times too. Sporting a weak alcohol content of 5%, this 40 yielded no real buzz. And the bottle has a unique shape comparable only to a few wide mouths such as Phat Boy (a wide mouth that indents slightly toward the mouth)... Overall rating is 7/10 swills. Thanks out to james (RIP) for sending me this!

james: it really aint bad at all. but its no different than shit like st ides special brew. not to mention even weaker. the difference is that its a 40 oz bottle. its a dope LOOKING 40, but pretty much just grape soda with alcohol. i mean, if i could get it for a dollar a bottle like the asian offered me to "get rid of it" i would take it again, however at the asian's normal price of 1.99 id be buying the OE at 1.50 instead.

Tiger Tai: First let me say I'm feeling the purple and black color scheme (GO RAVENS!), the cowboy label, and the old school Phat Boy shaped wide mouth bottle. Upon cracking the swill my intial reaction was "mmm tastes like grape shasta." As I continued drinking it my intial reaction soon changed to "Ewww tastes like grape cough medicine." Curious as to what color the actual brew was I poured some out into my beer glass and much to my suprise it's emerald green!! With a 5% alc. content Side Pocket didn't yield much of a buzz at all and I don't think I could go for the taste on a regular basis. It's kinda hard to rate this as I've never drank anything to compare it to. I guess due to its unique taste, the ony thing its really got going for it, I'd rate Side Pocket 5 outta 10 Swills.
