Bruz: Thanks out to Tesguino for the bottle! Technically, you're not allowed to ship glass out of Mexico, so I'm lucky to even have received it empty! So instead of drinking the 40, I'm drinking 3 imported 12s of this. What a smooth easy flowing beer! Goes down like water... yet not like a "watery beer". Fresh & pure. An incredibly smooth pilsner, possibly the smoothest. Great on a hot day, when your pits are dripping down under your shirt and your underwear is clinging to you like saranwrap. The condensation on this is a beautiful thing. Eating some grilled lamb chops, garlic mashed potatos, asparagus & tomatos with this. And a cream filled chocolate cupcake for dessert. Beer snobs would not like this - there's no real distinct flavors/scents/etc. It's almost too easy to drink. No buzz either. Overall, 7/10 swills

3/15/09 slipknotdepp: Dos Equis Lager is popular in Southern Cali, on accounta' the fact that Mexico is right below us. The 40's have to be smuggled in, or you have to travel over the border. In a 40 I drop 3 or 4 slices of lime. In a 12 oz you need to drop at least one slice of lime. In my opinion it is really shit without the lime. Goes down smooth, not too shabby. I like to drink it only in 12 oz bottles when I chow down on Mexican food, or just to kick back. It is my one of my favorite stock beers at the moment, but not the best... 7/10 swills.
