James Bowie

James Bowie was the second in a series of Wild West beers from Hornell Brewing Co. which also featured Crazy Horse. The line was supposed to include Annie Oakley, a light beer that never got produced. The ones with the cowboy hats were given to distributors and were used as advertising pieces for the brand. The back of the bottle reads "The American West, a land that beckoned to the brave, the spirited, the adventurous. And they came, seeking to fulfill dreams and destinies. All created history. Some became legends, Jim Bowie, Davy Crockett, the Alamo and the struggle for Texas Independence, John Henry railroad builder, Chisum, Fremont, Pike wilderness pathfinders, Mountainmen, Jim Bridger, Jeremiah Johnson, and countless men and women of stalwart frontier families. The Hornell Brewery dedicates this Special Pilsner Beer to those who created the Heritage of the American West."

I need the clear glass test bottle pictured at the end above. If you can help, please email me.
