Old Milwaukee Zenith Old Milwaukee Zenith, the brand formerly known as Old Milwaukee Black, was produced by Silver Creek Brewery in La Crosse, WI, and available in Canada. It weighed in at 9% ABV and had a strong bad malt liquor flavor. I drank this alongside some scrambled eggs, sausage, English muffins, mixed nuts, and chocolate chip cookies. Sugar + Salt + Malt = Good. This 40 definitely got harder to drink the warmer it got, and the swill's rough, but at least the alcohol content rewarded me in the end. I enjoyed Old Milwaukee Black more at the time, but different times call for different experiences. Old Milwaukee Zenith gets 5/10 swills from me, averaging the Zenith and Black out at 6/10.
